TravelGo is operated by RiverCloud Inc ("RiverCloud," "we," "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the TravelGo app, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

Account information: email address and authentication details when you create an account.

Profile information: traveler type, budget preferences, travel pace, dietary preferences, and home airport, if you choose to provide them.

Trip content: destinations, dates, and preferences you enter to generate itineraries, game plans, and trip stories, along with the generated content itself.

Usage information: how you interact with the app (e.g., which features you use), collected to improve TravelGo.

How we use your information

To generate personalized itineraries, game plans, and trip stories using third-party AI services (OpenAI) and location data services (Google Places).

To operate your account, including authentication and data storage (via Supabase).

To display content you choose to publish to the Explore feed. Content is private by default and only shared publicly if you explicitly choose to publish it.

To support affiliate bookings: if you follow a booking link from TravelGo (for example, to Viator or Booking.com) and complete a purchase, we may earn a commission. The affiliate partner's own privacy policy governs any information you provide directly to them.

Third parties we share data with

We share limited data with service providers strictly to operate the app: Supabase (hosting, authentication, database), OpenAI (to generate itinerary, story, and game plan content from your inputs), and Google (Places API, for location data). We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your profile information at any time in the app. You can permanently delete your account and associated data from within the app's account settings.

Children's privacy

TravelGo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
